Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and facilitate Artificial Intelligence projects by establishing technical objectives, offering direction, and ensuring successful delivery and support.

• Discover opportunities to utilize AI, conversational AI, and voice AI to enhance healthcare processes, as well as member and provider experiences, and operational efficiency.

• Assist AI initiatives from the initial concept to final execution while adhering to timelines, budget constraints, quality benchmarks, priorities, and business goals.

• Evaluate requirements, analyze feasibility, and suggest AI solutions, conversational experiences, prompts, and platform functionalities.

• Work in collaboration with AI engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to set up, integrate, test, and refine conversational AI, generative AI, and voice AI solutions.

• Develop and implement integrations and data pipelines while addressing issues related to privacy, security, and governance.

• Assess, test, monitor, and continuously enhance AI solutions based on performance, accuracy, user experience, and business impact.

• Provide technical advice and communication to cross-functional teams.

• Oversee AI deployments, integrate them with existing infrastructures, resolve technical challenges, monitor performance, and offer production support.

• Configure, manage, and support AI platforms, tools, and environments, including technologies for conversational AI.

• Supervise production AI solutions, troubleshoot problems, resolve incidents, and maintain system health and availability.

• Create technical documentation, implementation guidelines, operational procedures, runbooks, and support materials.

• Assess emerging AI technologies and provide recommendations for innovation.

• Promote AI governance, compliance, security, and responsible AI practices.

• Experience in developing, implementing, supporting, or maintaining enterprise technology solutions.

• Experience in supporting production applications and resolving operational challenges.

• Preferred experience with conversational AI, virtual assistants, chatbots, voice automation, or similar AI technologies.

• Preferred experience with AI platforms like Kore.ai or comparable enterprise AI technologies.

• Preferred experience with Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), prompt design, and AI orchestration.

• Preferred experience with speech, transcription, natural language processing, or voice technologies.

• Preferred experience with AI monitoring, observability, testing, or performance metrics.

• Preferred experience within the healthcare sector, Medicare, member engagement, provider engagement, or regulated industries.

• Preferred experience with cloud-based technology platforms and AI solution deployments.

• Bachelor's degree, specialized training, or relevant professional qualifications preferred.
