Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement MCP servers that provide domain services as AI-accessible tools, ensuring proper authentication, observability, and error management.

• Create multi-agent workflows utilizing orchestration frameworks and agent-to-agent communication protocols to facilitate complex logistics automation.

• Construct and enhance knowledge retrieval pipelines employing RAG, KAG, and CAG strategies, selecting the most suitable method based on query complexity, data volatility, and domain reasoning needs.

• Design hybrid retrieval architectures that navigate between CAG for static reference data, RAG for dynamic operational inquiries, and KAG for multi-hop reasoning across structured domain knowledge.

• Implement LLM integration layers, including prompt engineering, function invocation, structured output parsing, and model routing to ensure domain accuracy.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate operational workflows into agent functionalities.

• Deploy and manage agent infrastructure on Kubernetes using GitOps methodologies and observability tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline.

• Excellent communication skills and experience working in interdisciplinary or collaborative team settings.

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and concepts in AI/ML.

• Proven experience in developing production-grade AI applications in Python—not limited to notebooks or prototypes.

• Hands-on expertise with LLM integration, including function invocation, tool utilization, and structured outputs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google APIs).

• Solid understanding of knowledge retrieval patterns, including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and familiarity with emerging methodologies such as KAG (Knowledge-Augmented Generation) and CAG (Cache-Augmented Generation).

• Proficient in SQL and at least one analytical data platform (BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar).

• Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

• A background in MCP, agent orchestration frameworks, knowledge graphs, or streaming data systems is a significant advantage.
