Senior AI Architect – Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the complete architecture design for sovereign AI implementations.

• Create scalable and secure AI/ML reference architectures that encompass model lifecycle management, data pipelines, inference infrastructure, and governance frameworks.

• Assess and choose technologies, cloud/on-premises infrastructures, and tools that comply with sovereignty and risk-management requirements.

• Offer architectural supervision across implementation teams.

• Identify, evaluate, and manage risks throughout the AI solution lifecycle.

• Develop and execute governance frameworks that incorporate responsible AI, auditability, and ongoing risk monitoring.

• Collaborate with security, compliance, legal, engineering, product, and delivery teams.

• Produce architectural documentation, diagrams, and governance frameworks for AI model development, deployment, and monitoring.

• Promote security-by-design principles across AI components, including encryption, access control, auditing, and safe model operations.

• Lead technical evaluations and resolve architectural and integration challenges.

• Advise C-suite executives, technical leaders, and regulatory stakeholders regarding sovereign AI strategies.

• Conduct design workshops, discovery sessions, and in-depth technical discussions.

• Transform customer requirements into architecture and solution roadmaps.

• Convey architectural decisions to executives, delivery teams, engineers, and clients.

• Monitor advancements in sovereign AI, regulations, digital sovereignty, and AI risk management.

• Contribute to whitepapers, presentations, and technical advisories.

• Mentor, coach, and develop both solution and enterprise architects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in deploying and configuring enterprise Kubernetes, including Rancher RKE2, Red Hat OpenShift, and CNCF Kubernetes.

• Over 5 years of practical Linux experience.

• Experience with SLURM on Kubernetes frameworks, such as Slinky and SUNK.

• Strong background working with Ansible automation frameworks.

• Familiarity with REST APIs for product integrations.

• Knowledge of HPC architectures, network topologies, and high-performance storage systems.

• Understanding of NVIDIA AI Enterprise tools, particularly BCM and DCGM, for deployment and management.

• Willingness to travel regularly.

• Preferred: experience with Sovereign Cloud, MLOps, or compliance-led AI implementations.

• Preferred: knowledge of the EU AI Act, GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP, CJIS, or similar frameworks.

• Preferred: experience in professional services, consulting, or large-scale transformation initiatives.

• Preferred: experience in establishing a new sales strategy or launching a completely new offering.
