Senior AFC Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Perform intricate customer risk evaluations, including Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews.

• Analyze bank statements and evaluate evidence for Source of Funds and Source of Wealth.

• Assess Key Accounts with respect to both Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) and Safer Gambling risk indicators.

• Make documented, clear, and appropriate decisions concerning high-risk customers.

• Manage escalations and assist Analysts with complex inquiries.

• Serve as a role model in terms of quality, judgment, and professional ethics.

• Collaborate closely with teams in Commercial, Key Accounts, Safer Gambling, Player Support, and Compliance leadership.

• Aid in broader AFC tasks while fulfilling the specialized Key Account responsibilities.

• Craft clear case rationales and Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) or Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) narratives when necessary.

• Contribute to enhancing AFC processes, controls, and consistency as Midnite expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possesses a minimum of one year of relevant experience in financial crime, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), EDD, or Safer Gambling.

• Has independently evaluated customer risk in a regulated setting.

• Capable of confidently reviewing bank statements and other financial documentation.

• Knowledgeable in CDD, EDD, and assessments of Source of Funds and Source of Wealth.

• Interested in growth opportunities within both AFC and Safer Gambling fields.

• Holds experience in gambling or iGaming, or can demonstrate equivalent expertise from another regulated industry.

• Makes informed decisions under pressure and clearly documents the reasoning behind them.

• Quickly adapts and becomes proficient with minimal foundational training.

• Supports team members, sets a strong example, and influences peers without formal authority.

• Communicates effectively and collaborates well with operational and commercial stakeholders.

• Located in the UK and possesses full eligibility to work in the country.
