Senior Aerospace Engineer – Flight Dynamics, Simulation, AI Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Develop aerospace and flight dynamics tasks utilizing relevant simulation and design tools.

• Construct and validate realistic engineering problem statements, models, calculations, and technical assets.

• Generate golden geometries, mission plans, and reference solutions.

• Evaluate and review geometry, route, and airframe files against established criteria.

• Specify inputs, assumptions, constraints, operating conditions, and anticipated output metrics.

• Convert engineering requirements into simulation models and repeatable workflows.

• Confirm results through analytical checks, sanity checks, and engineering judgment.

• Assess other engineers’ submissions for technical accuracy and completeness.

• Enhance designs based on simulation outputs and recognized constraints.

• Clearly document methodologies, assumptions, engineering choices, and final results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in aerospace engineering or flight dynamics.

• Practical experience with scripting for engineering or simulation processes.

• Proficient in at least 2 of the following tools: OpenVSP, XFLR5, FlightGear + JSBSim, OpenRocket, QGroundControl.

• Extensive experience with aerodynamic, flight performance, trajectory, mission, or airframe analysis.

• Capability to define robust engineering problems with clear assumptions and acceptance criteria.

• Strong analytical validation and engineering sanity-checking abilities.

• Experience in producing clear technical documentation and reviewing engineering outputs.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
