Senior Advisor – Mining Advisory, Operational Excellence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior executives in the mining industry and operational leaders.

• Recognize customer challenges and convert them into strategic enhancement opportunities and business cases.

• Oversee consulting projects from the initial identification of opportunities through to delivery and realization of value.

• Formulate account growth strategies and assist in the expansion of advisory services within key customer accounts.

• Facilitate discussions with executives, workshops, and activities for stakeholder engagement.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality consulting results.

• Provide actionable, data-driven recommendations that enhance operational and workforce performance.

• Aid customers in achieving measurable improvements in safety, productivity, capability development, and operational effectiveness.

• Manage a portfolio of strategic mining accounts.

• Establish executive-level relationships, influence key decisions, and drive initiatives that enhance productivity, operational excellence, workforce effectiveness, and long-term business performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in mining, operational excellence, management consulting, business transformation, or a similar field.

• Proven track record of working effectively with senior executives and navigating complex stakeholder environments.

• Experience in developing business cases, strategic roadmaps, and initiatives for performance improvement.

• Exceptional consulting, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong commercial awareness with a demonstrated capacity to foster customer growth and long-term value creation.

• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the capability to simplify complex challenges into actionable business solutions.

• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and achieving measurable operational results.
