This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Oversee the clinical AI and technology portfolio management process from intake through to prioritization, decision readiness, execution oversight, value measurement, and portfolio learning.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive view of clinical AI and technology opportunities, including stages, sponsors, owners, milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and next steps.
• Provide leadership with insights into portfolio and program progression, goals, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and necessary actions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from clinical AI strategy, clinical design and delivery, business, product, technology, data and analytics, finance, and vendor management.
• Convert approved strategies and leadership decisions into actionable plans, integrated timelines, ownership models, readiness checkpoints, and tracking of execution progress.
• Organize input related to clinical needs, member and provider experience, data availability, workflow impact, technology compatibility, operational feasibility, value hypotheses, and measurement strategies.
• Prepare governance and leadership documentation, including portfolio updates, prioritization summaries, decision briefs, risk and dependency assessments, value measurement reports, and executive recommendations.
• Record and monitor decisions, issues, assumptions, owners, due dates, and follow-up actions.
• Facilitate stakeholder involvement in toll gates, approvals, readiness reviews, and decision-making forums.
• Track cross-functional dependencies and escalate significant risks, timing issues, and sequencing conflicts.
• Coordinate considerations of clinical workflow, safety, adoption, implementation readiness, and measurement within execution plans.
• Apply criteria for portfolio management, investment rationale, governance requirements, and practices for value realization.
• Enhance templates, processes, artifacts, forums, reporting routines, and record-keeping systems.
• Create succinct executive communications regarding progress, risks, trade-offs, decisions, and value-oriented recommendations.
• Report to the Principal, Enterprise Clinical Programs – Technology + AI Strategic Initiatives.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree or relevant certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in portfolio management, program management, PMO leadership, strategy execution, transformation, or complex enterprise initiatives.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple interdependent workstreams within a highly matrixed organization.
• Experience with portfolio governance, integrated planning, executive reporting, dependency management, risk escalation, and decision tracking.
• Strong skills in facilitation, synthesis, written communication, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to translate established strategy and leadership decisions into coordinated plans, milestones, ownership, and execution visibility.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity while upholding disciplined processes and transparent follow-through.
• Excellent communication skills for simplifying complex topics into clear, actionable insights for executive and cross-functional audiences.
• Preferred experience in healthcare, payer systems, clinical environments, digital health, data, analytics, or artificial intelligence.
• Experience in regulated or clinically sensitive environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI, clinical governance, value realization, or measurement planning is preferred.
• Preferred credentials in portfolio, program, project, agile, change management, or process improvement.
• If working from home, a home internet connection through a cable broadband or fiber optic provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload is required.
