Senior Advisor – Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +24 more states.

📋 Description

• Direct the company's strategic initiatives related to CMS.

• Provide guidance to leadership concerning CMS strategies, centers, programs, and challenges that align with Commence capabilities.

• Assist in establishing and directing the company's vision for meaningful approaches and solutions within CMS.

• Interpret CMS policy directions, budgets, rulemaking, and organizational shifts to inform health and technology portfolio strategy.

• Oversee the creation of white papers, responses to RFIs, and thought leadership initiatives.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships within the CMS ecosystem, including research institutions and associations.

• Counsel delivery leadership on client expectations and program management.

• Strengthen desired outcomes through the performance of ongoing work.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in federal health care.

• Experience at CMS in a senior leadership role, such as center or office leadership, group or division management, senior executive service, or equivalent.

• Extensive working knowledge of CMS programs, which may include Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, quality programs, program integrity, and payment innovation.

• Familiarity with how CMS centers and offices collaborate to establish and implement priorities.

• An advanced degree in public health, health policy, economics, public administration, law, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Capability to work remotely from one of the eligible states or Washington, DC.

• Ability to sit, read, work on a computer, and view a computer screen for prolonged periods.

• Occasional capability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, kneel, or crouch.
