Senior Advanced Analytics Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee analytics initiatives that promote a data-driven culture within BioCryst

• Create and implement analytical methodologies to enhance insights and guide commercial business decisions

• Provide support for BioCryst’s inaugural commercial product launch of ORLADEYO as well as other products in the rare disease pipeline

• Combine data, analytical techniques, and insights across Advanced Analytics, Market Insights, and Strategic Operations

• Spearhead the implementation and execution of commercial sales incentive plans for both the U.S. and Canada

• Evaluate sales, marketing, market access, patient services, and medical affairs data to uncover patterns, trends, root causes, opportunities, and threats

• Convert complex analytical results into clear, actionable recommendations

• Act as an internal consultant to Commercial, Medical Affairs, and various other departments

• Design, track, and sustain business analytics tools, reports, dashboards, and performance metrics

• Oversee access and updates to commercial reports, dashboards, and metrics

• Define and track KPIs in collaboration with cross-functional partners

• Collaborate with Data Operations on data mining, exploration, modeling, model deployment, and assessment

• Ensure a comprehensive and precise commercial data source of truth

• Clarify commercial data and system requirements and drive program execution through the delivery of results

• Guarantee the accuracy and completeness of data and deliverables

• Execute other duties as assigned


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a master’s degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• More than 3 years of experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or related industries

• Over 5 years of overall experience in analytics-focused roles, including forecasting and sales operations

• Demonstrated success in translating analytical results into tangible business impact

• Experience in rare diseases is advantageous

• Familiarity with third-party pharmaceutical claims data and managed care data is a plus

• Experience in managing projects and vendors

• Capacity to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced setting

• Ability to swiftly generate ad hoc analyses requested by leadership teams

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency in developing and delivering persuasive presentations to senior leadership

• Experience with Veeva CRM and Power BI is a plus
