Senior Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations and adjust claims for both residential and commercial properties with minimal supervision.

• Timely inspect claims and reach out to all relevant parties.

• Assess claims to determine coverage, causation, compensable damages, and necessary reserves.

• Review insurance policies and documentation to ascertain coverage details.

• Create estimates for repair and/or replacement expenses.

• Interview claimants and witnesses for information gathering.

• Negotiate and resolve both first- and third-party claims.

• Manage salvage and subrogation processes as directed by clients.

• Foster client relationships to encourage repeat business referrals.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

• Contribute to the organization’s quality initiatives.

• Travel as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

• IIA-AIC designation is mandatory.

• A valid state adjuster license is required.

• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience is essential.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present effectively.

• Proficiency in PC usage, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.

• Proven dedication to timely reporting.

• Strong customer service abilities.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills.

• Keen attention to detail and precision.

• Effective time management and organizational capabilities.

• Capability to work autonomously or collaboratively in a team setting.

• Ability to meet or surpass Performance Competencies.

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods.

• Must be capable of kneeling, squatting, or bending as needed.

• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.

• Proficient in climbing, crawling, stooping, kneeling, and reaching overhead.

• Able to lift/carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Able to push/pull weights up to 100 pounds.

• Capable of driving for up to 4 hours per day.

• Frequent use of manual dexterity is required.
