Senior Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Investigate and adjust claims for residential and commercial property and casualty with minimal supervision.

• Conduct timely inspections of claims and communicate with all involved parties.

• Examine claim circumstances to determine coverage, causes, compensable damages, and reserves.

• Review insurance policies and other documentation to ascertain coverage.

• Prepare estimates for repair and/or replacement expenses.

• Conduct interviews with claimants and witnesses.

• Negotiate and settle both first- and third-party claims.

• Manage salvage and subrogation as needed by the client.

• Foster client relationships to ensure repeat business referrals.

• Execute other assigned duties as necessary.

• Support the quality initiatives of the organization.

• Travel as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• IIA-AIC designation is mandatory.

• A valid state adjuster license is required.

• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in presentation.

• Proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.

• Proven dedication to timely reporting.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

• Effective time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team setting.

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods.

• Must be capable of kneeling, squatting, or bending.

• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, both hot and cold.

• Ability to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead.

• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.

• Able to push or pull up to 100 pounds.

• Must be able to drive for up to 4 hours daily.

• Continuous use of manual dexterity is required.
