Senior Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Assist in the accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of group accounting and reporting.

• Ensure high-quality financial information to facilitate decision-making processes.

• Collaborate with the Head of Consolidation and Reporting to coordinate Finance Transformation initiatives.

• Support system implementations, user acceptance testing cycles, and training activities for Finance teams.

• Provide technical accounting advice and well-informed recommendations.

• Interpret and convert financial data into valuable insights.

• Report directly to the Head of Consolidation and Reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in financial accounting.

• Familiarity with consolidation processes.

• Strong technical expertise in financial systems and applications.

• Experience with SAP and Hyperion (HFM) is preferred.

• Exceptional Excel, analytical, and data management skills.

• Keen attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial data clearly.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

• Proficient in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities within financial processes.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

• Ability to adapt to evolving environments and new technologies.

• A proactive mindset towards process improvements.

• Fluency in English.

• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in accounting and finance.

• Extensive experience with financial systems and data tools, including Tableau and SAP Analytics Cloud.

• Experience with a Big Four audit firm is highly regarded.
