Senior Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Conduct reconciliations within internal accounting systems, promptly researching and resolving discrepancies.

• Actively seek and implement process enhancement opportunities centered on customer and business requirements.

• Foster and sustain relationships with internal clients to improve service quality and meet expectations.

• Investigate and rectify discrepancies in the general ledger.

• Offer insights to management and suggest efficiency enhancements through standardization and process optimization.

• Engage in and/or oversee M&A activities, including the integration of systems and processes.

• Gather, analyze, and prepare metrics and reports for the business units served.

• Assess offshore production performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs), pinpoint quality, turnaround time, or productivity deficiencies, and propose corrective measures to management.

• Develop written desktop procedures and conduct training to ensure consistency, accuracy, and operational effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience.

• Generally requires 4–7 years of related experience in finance or accounting.

• Proven critical thinking abilities, with a capacity to evaluate options, assess risks, and devise effective solutions.

• Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex issues, explore alternatives, and implement solutions.

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting and finance principles, with the capability to apply them in daily tasks.

• Advanced proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.

• Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and drive suitable resolutions.

• Experience in facilitating or participating in discussions with senior-level, cross-functional stakeholders.

• Familiarity with enterprise financial systems; experience with Oracle is preferred.
