
Senior Accountant – Technical Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +21 more states.
• Conduct research, analysis, and documentation of accounting conclusions for intricate transactions.
• Develop and uphold technical accounting position papers and memorandums.
• Evaluate contracts from customers, vendors, and other business entities to ascertain the correct accounting treatment in accordance with US GAAP.
• Engage in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing activities, which include journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and flux analysis.
• Collaborate with Legal, FP&A, Partner Alliance, Revenue and Sales Operations, and other cross-functional teams.
• Aid in the preparation of SEC filings, including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and Proxy statements.
• Identify areas for enhancement in accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures while ensuring SOX compliance.
• Report directly to the Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting.
• 5–7 years of cumulative experience in a public company accounting role, Big 4 public accounting audit role, or a combination of both.
• A minimum of 2 years in a technical accounting position.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA license is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot.
• Familiarity with NetSuite in a multi-currency, multi-subsidiary setting is advantageous.
• Experience with the Workiva SEC reporting tool is a plus.
• Capability to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to work extended hours at quarter-end.
