This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead or play a pivotal role in cross-functional initiatives, which encompass system implementations, operationalizing new business contracts, and finance modernization projects.
• Oversee project scope, timelines, dependencies, and communication with stakeholders.
• Anticipate potential risks and proactively address issues to ensure initiatives remain on schedule.
• Identify and implement methods to automate, streamline, and standardize accounting and finance operations utilizing AI-driven data analytics, workflow automation, anomaly detection, document intelligence, reporting automation, and close process automation.
• Collaborate with IT and finance transformation teams to enhance systems, automate reporting, and redesign workflows.
• Assist in change management and the adoption of new tools and processes, including the documentation of procedures and controls to enhance transparency, scalability, and audit readiness.
• Ensure that automation and AI-driven solutions incorporate adequate data quality, documentation, internal control, auditability, and governance considerations.
• Create and prepare analytics for reviewing monthly and quarterly financial outcomes, including results at the client level.
• Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance, including variances, trends, and key business performance indicators.
• Support financial reporting processes in compliance with U.S. GAAP, U.S. Statutory regulations, internal policies, and insurance industry standards.
• Act as a trusted finance partner to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Lead conversations regarding accounting interpretations, financial implications, and risk considerations.
• Foster alignment across teams by identifying issues, proposing solutions, and driving consensus.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial leadership.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, ERP/reporting systems, and AI-enabled finance tools.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal control principles.
• Proven ability to lead intricate work through influence, collaboration, and credibility.
• Demonstrated experience in driving automation, process improvements, or finance transformation initiatives.
• Advanced analytical skills with the capability to distill large or complex datasets into actionable insights.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership.
• Enthusiasm for technology and fluency in AI.
• Experience in change management and adoption leadership.
• Proficient in data-driven decision-making.
• Control-oriented transformation mindset.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinking complemented by a keen attention to detail.

• CPA designation is advantageous.
• Experience in large global insurance or financial services companies is beneficial.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience is a plus.
