This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare and assist with external filings and internal reporting, which includes Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K, along with earnings releases.
• Construct financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Execute detailed tie-outs across various reporting materials.
• Oversee and facilitate equity accounting in accordance with ASC 718, which encompasses monthly stock-based compensation journal entries, reconciliations, activity analysis, and associated reporting.
• Investigate and analyze both routine and emerging U.S. GAAP and SEC guidance.
• Contribute to the development of technical accounting memorandums and assist in the implementation of new or evolving accounting standards.
• Aid in external audits and SOX compliance by preparing necessary documentation and audit schedules.
• Address audit inquiries and maintain documentation related to internal controls.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Legal, Finance, Investor Relations, external auditors, and cross-functional teams.
• Enhance and automate financial reporting and accounting processes.
• Identify process efficiencies and leverage tools such as Excel, Workiva, Oracle, Google Workspace, and emerging AI technologies for research, analysis, reporting, and productivity.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Background in financial reporting and/or technical accounting.
• Required experience in public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience in researching accounting guidance and contributing to technical accounting memorandums.
• General understanding of stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718.
• Experience in supporting journal entries, reconciliations, or related accounting tasks.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and deliver precise work within tight financial reporting deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and complex analysis.
• Willingness to learn and utilize AI and automation tools.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods, use a computer or office equipment, and communicate effectively.
• CPA license is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with Big Four public accounting firms is desirable.
• Familiarity with Workiva, Oracle, and/or Google Workspace is a plus.
• Experience supporting SEC filings, SOX compliance, external audits, or public company financial reporting is an advantage.
• Exposure to AI-enabled accounting, financial reporting, research, or workflow automation tools is a bonus.
