📋 Description

• Evaluate the performance of entry-level staff members and offer constructive feedback for corrections and process enhancements.

• Conduct advanced accounting functions and analyses to assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP.

• Contribute to the effective execution of the monthly close process by preparing intricate journal entries, overseeing sub-ledger interfaces, and ensuring the prompt analysis, preparation, and submission of close-related deliverables.

• Reconcile corporate cash transactions and manage the intercompany cash netting process by collaborating with the Cash and Treasury teams and addressing issues swiftly.

• Carry out variance analyses related to system reconciliations and ad hoc requests, delivering timely support and explanations to stakeholders.

• Aid in the global intercompany reconciliation process by monitoring and resolving intercompany discrepancies that affect the financial close.

• Work together with offshore team members by reviewing their deliverables, providing feedback, and supporting the accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks.

• Identify and implement automation opportunities within BlackLine to streamline the close process and enhance operational efficiency.

• Ensure adherence to SOX requirements, internal controls, accounting policies, and U.S. GAAP.

• Assist with requests from internal and external audits, tax reporting obligations, and the preparation of supporting schedules and documentation.

• Foster strong working relationships with finance teams in business units and other stakeholders while supporting cross-functional initiatives and special projects as required.
