Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive decision-making and accountability across the company based on data and financial insights.

• Utilize financial infrastructure to empower leadership in making data-driven choices.

• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes and reporting for both external and internal stakeholders.

• Act as a liaison with external audit firms and assist in executing audit processes.

• Formulate global accounting policies, practices, procedures, and initiatives.

• Ensure the accurate control, recording, and classification of revenues and expenses.

• Manage vendor relations and enhance organizational efficiency.

• Collaborate across different functions on various ad hoc analytics projects.

• Handle traditional accounting responsibilities while contributing to transformative initiatives.

• Develop comprehensive financial reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Identify and implement AI-driven tools and automation to enhance reporting accuracy and uphold internal control standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or within a high-growth technology environment preferred.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex findings to non-technical audiences.

• Proven experience in preparing and delivering timely and accurate financial reports.

• Capability to derive compelling insights from data and numbers.

• Familiarity with Salesforce, QuickBooks, and financial planning software is advantageous.

• Eagerness to explore AI applications and a commitment to learning and utilizing it in the workplace.

• Sound judgment to validate AI outputs and protect sensitive financial information.
