Associate Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

• Prepare assigned journal entries and perform reconciliations for balance-sheet accounts.

• Oversee the management of operational accounts.

• Conduct general ledger account reconciliations, reporting, and data verification.

• Aid in the automation of operational processes and the development of standardized accounting procedures.

• Collaborate with various departments to manage expense allocation and coding.

• Process and document employee travel expenses in accordance with company policies.

• Standardize policies and assist in establishing internal controls.

• Support external financial audits by supplying requested documentation and materials.

• Identify and create solutions for process improvements.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline; relevant field experience may also be considered.

• Experience in the high-tech/SaaS industry is advantageous.

• Outstanding organizational abilities and a keen attention to detail.

• Strong sense of urgency.

• Proactive and self-motivated with the capability to multitask, think innovatively, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

• Preferred experience with Workday, NetSuite, Intacct, or similar ERP systems.

• Competence in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Possess a team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in an inclusive, fast-paced culture.
