Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Take charge of essential month-end closing tasks and assist with global accounting operations.

• Implement accounting processes across various entities while ensuring precision, compliance, audit preparedness, financial integrity, and scalability.

• Carry out month-end closing procedures, which include journal entries, accruals, prepaid schedules, and intercompany reconciliations.

• Reconcile bank accounts and digital asset wallets utilizing AI-assisted tools to detect anomalies and expedite reviews.

• Conduct crypto subledger reconciliations between NetSuite and digital asset platforms, including rollforward schedules.

• Execute entity-level financial statement flux analysis and create horizontal and vertical variance reports for subsidiaries.

• Assist in the preparation of US GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures across multiple jurisdictions.

• Maintain audit-ready workpapers for external audits.

• Collaborate with Treasury on daily monitoring of cash and crypto liquidity, funding bank accounts and wallets, and performing crypto-to-fiat conversions and transfers.

• Develop controls and AI-assisted workflows to enhance automation in accounting operations.

• Report directly to the Controller and work closely with accounting and finance leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience under US GAAP, with exposure to complex accounting areas.

• Familiarity with NetSuite and high-volume reconciliations in a production environment.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities, with the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

• Proficient in Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets.

• Proven daily use of AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) in accounting tasks, with specific examples of enhancing close cycles, reconciliation accuracy, or manual review processes.

• Rapid learning aptitude and the ability to swiftly adopt new systems, standards, and tools.

• Experience with audit support is preferred.

• Familiarity with crypto subledger tools and systems is preferred.

• Experience in creating lightweight automations or AI workflows, such as Python scripts, n8n, or prompt chains is preferred.
