Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare monthly accruals and assist in the comprehensive month-end closing process.

• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations along with balance sheet account reconciliations.

• Generate monthly flux analysis reports.

• Document monthly statutory entries for international entities and aid in consolidation efforts.

• Create monthly payroll journal entries and manage US payroll processing.

• Collaborate with statutory accounting firms concerning payroll, bank reconciliations, and associated entries.

• Issue customer invoices and oversee collections.

• Record partner revenue share entries and prepare related reports.

• Generate reports for external stakeholders such as banks and customers.

• Record entries for GST and sales tax returns, and assist the Corporate Controller in preparing tax filings with the external tax firm.

• Contribute to the annual audit by preparing PBCs and ensuring audit readiness.

• Assist with tax return preparation, including the creation of PBCs.

• Support the Corporate Controller in the administration of the NetSuite system.

• Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Corporate Controller.

• Report directly to the Corporate Controller.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.

• Over 5 years of accounting experience.

• CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Prior experience in auditing is preferred.

• Familiarity with FloQast, NetSuite, Drivetrain, and Zenskar.

• Experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting firm.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
