Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the ongoing accounting for multiple OneQrew Group companies independently.

• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting tasks.

• Oversee payment transactions and implement dunning procedures.

• Assist and engage in monthly and annual closings in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code).

• Prepare and submit monthly reports, including VAT advance returns and recapitulative statements (ZM).

• Reconcile accounts, with a focus on intercompany and fixed-asset accounting.

• Serve as the point of contact for tax advisors and auditors.

• Play a role in enhancing and automating accounting processes.

• Aid in the development of efficient, company-wide finance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training in commerce, preferably as a tax clerk, or advanced training in finance and accounting.

• Several years of experience in professional accounting, ideally a minimum of 5 years.

• Solid practical knowledge in preparing monthly and annual closings in line with HGB.

• Strong understanding of tax law.

• Preferably experienced in managing multiple companies or complicated accounting frameworks.

• Proficient in using DATEV.

• Excellent skills in Excel.

• Independent, structured, and process-oriented approach to work.

• High level of accuracy, reliability, and initiative.

• Team player who is comfortable collaborating in a remote environment.

• Proficient in German, with English skills considered an advantage.
