This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the timely and accurate month-end closing process by preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheets.
• Oversee the close workflows, track tasks, and manage reconciliations using Numeric.
• Manage corporate card transactions, employee expense reimbursements, and accounts payable processes through Ramp.
• Reconcile subscription billing, SaaS metrics, and payment gateway transactions within Maxio.
• Maintain records for equity transactions, stock-based compensation schedules, and capitalization table reporting in Carta.
• Supervise monthly variable compensation calculations and ensure accounting treatment complies with ASC 340.
• Ensure that accounting records, policies, and procedures comply with US GAAP while maintaining robust internal controls.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to capture transaction details, investigate reconciling items, and address operational discrepancies.
• Assist with the annual financial statement audit, tax filings, and meet external compliance obligations.
• Support ad-hoc financial reporting, system improvements, and special projects.
• Report directly to the Controller.
• Active CPA license (mandatory).
• Over 3 years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Familiarity with core AI concepts, including LLMs, agents, copilots, tokens, credits, context windows, RAG, and data governance.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, month-end closing procedures, and best practices for account reconciliation.
• Practical experience with modern cloud ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
• Experience using contemporary financial and accounting tools such as Ramp, Numeric, Maxio, and Carta, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Previous public accounting experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of ASC 606, ASC 340, and equity accounting is an advantage.
