Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee and finalize Australian tax compliance and accounting tasks

• Prepare and evaluate financial statements, tax returns, and associated compliance obligations

• Ensure that all work is precise, comprehensive, and submitted on time

• Manage client communication and assist with client inquiries

• Operate autonomously with limited supervision

• Identify and address issues with minimal direction

• Provide support and guidance to junior team members

• May assume team leadership responsibilities as the position evolves

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be based in the Philippines

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Australian accounting

• At least 10 years of overall accounting experience

• Strong expertise in Australian tax compliance

• Comprehensive knowledge of Australian accounting and taxation regulations

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience working with Australian clients is highly preferred

• Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus

• Must disclose any current ongoing roles or client engagements

• Required to represent this engagement on LinkedIn as “Independent Contractor”
