Certified Public Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Analyze, organize, and update financial records.

• Conduct thorough and regular audits of financial documents, expenditures, and investments.

• Carry out daily reconciliation of credit card, bank, cash, and spending accounts.

• Establish financial accounts as necessary.

• Oversee ledger reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable.

• Collaborate with Tax Accountants to monitor tax payments and returns.

• Regularly supervise bookkeeping activities.

• Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.

• Ensure that vendor accounts are updated across the organization.

• Manage inventory effectively.

• Handle purchases from China.

• Provide financial reporting, ensure compliance, and offer strategic insights for business decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Candidates should hold at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in a relevant field.

• Demonstrated experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Preferably, candidates should have experience in accounting or finance, particularly within the US Accounting System.

• Familiarity with accounting software, modules, and financial statements is essential.

• A strong motivation to exceed expectations while working independently.

• A friendly, quick learner with the ability to adapt to change and a positive “can-do” attitude.

• Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Teams, etc.

• Experience in the Procurement and Logistics industry is advantageous.

• Minimum requirements include a 5th generation Intel i5 processor or equivalent.

• At least 4.00 GB of computer memory/RAM is necessary.

• Operating systems must be Windows 10 or Mac OSX; Linux, Unix, or other systems are not acceptable.

• Internet speed must be at least 5.0 MBPS or higher on both primary and backup connections.

• A noise-cancelling headset connected via USB port is required.

• A webcam with a minimum of 3 megapixels capable of 720p recording is required.
