Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance Expense Operations and Accounts Payable Health Dashboards

• Take ownership of comprehensive Accounts Payable functions, encompassing vendor onboarding, invoice review, payment batch processing, aging analysis, and escalation procedures

• Execute payroll entry and preparation across multiple platforms

• Reconcile and manage employee expenses within the general ledger and its associated integrations

• Administer corporate card and spending workflows, which include weekly credit card audits and synchronization, accuracy in general ledger coding, policy enforcement, and exception reporting

• Promote the effective use of tools throughout the technology ecosystem

• Lead initiatives for continuous enhancement of Accounts Payable and expense processes through automation, reduction of manual interactions, and implementation of AI technologies

• Manage general ledger expense account oversight within the month-end closing process, covering accruals, prepaid releases, reimbursement entries, allocation journal entries, and workpaper finalization

• Collaborate with the Director of Accounting to ensure timely completion of expense-related closing tasks

• Offer daily guidance and constructive feedback to staff accountants

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting

• Experience in a high-growth SaaS or B2B software environment

• Extensive hands-on expertise in Accounts Payable, payroll, and expense management

• Strong background in general ledger activities and month-end closing, with direct responsibility for reconciliations and journal entries

• Capability to effectively manage high-volume, recurring task workflows with accuracy, consistency, and accountability

• Outstanding organizational and self-management abilities

• Regular and systematic integration of AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency

• Proven track record in building and maintaining operational dashboards and reporting outputs

• Experience with NetSuite (preferred)

• Background in public accounting (preferred)

• CPA or equivalent certification (preferred)
