
Senior Accountant, Americas – ANZ

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing activities across various entities.
• Prepare and record accruals and prepaid expenses to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations for payroll, intercompany transactions, sales and use tax, accruals, and prepaid expense accounts.
• Aid in the preparation of management reports, variance analysis, and financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and Prosci standards.
• Prepare and file sales and use tax returns along with supporting documentation.
• Assist with the creation of federal and state income tax workpapers and supporting schedules.
• Ensure adherence to US GAAP, local and state statutory requirements, and internal financial controls.
• Facilitate external audits by coordinating with auditors and supplying necessary documentation.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of financial processes.
• Engage in ad hoc financial projects and system improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the global finance team regarding accounting policies and reporting standards.
• Develop and document accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Provide analytical and operational assistance to the Americas & ANZ Controller and Financial Accountant.
• Foster working relationships with Operations, Sales, and HR teams.
• Assist in the training and onboarding of new finance team members on Prosci’s tools and platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within a multinational or shared-services context.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, multi-state sales tax, and general accounting principles.
• Experience in month-end closing, reconciliations, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
• Effective communication and organizational abilities.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• CPA certification or active progress toward obtaining CPA license is a plus.
