This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Meet the revenue objectives for both the clinic and territory.
• Formulate and implement sales and business development strategies for designated clinics.
• Track referral patterns and assess territory performance, taking action to rectify any downturns in business activity.
• Conduct quarterly business assessments with clinic leadership and relevant stakeholders.
• Foster and enhance relationships with current referral sources.
• Cultivate new referral sources through sales outreach, in-services, cold calls, and networking efforts.
• Attain weekly activity targets, such as logged sales calls and educational sessions in Salesforce.
• Establish a robust pipeline of potential referral partners.
• Develop cooperative relationships with clinicians, physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and allied health professionals.
• Provide ongoing support for customer service and address referral source inquiries.
• Link referral partners to Hanger programs, continuing education opportunities, and community initiatives.
• Forge strategic partnerships with hospitals and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs).
• Assist in leading responses to RFPs, proposals, presentations, and contracting efforts.
• Manage contract negotiations and institutional fee adjustments in line with company policies.
• Create implementation strategies and oversee contract performance metrics.
• Complete necessary facility and vendor credentialing processes.
• Identify and assess opportunities for trade shows and conferences.
• Evaluate the ROI on business development efforts and events.
• Implement regional growth strategies and special projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience that meets the requirements.
• At least 5 years of professional sales experience, preferably in the healthcare sector, or 1 year as a Business Development Associate.
• Proficient in CRM software, specifically Salesforce.
• Demonstrated history of achieving or surpassing sales goals.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a driving record compliant with Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
• Previous experience engaging with hospitals, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), clinics, and physician groups.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), and payor dynamics.
• Strong negotiation and closing capabilities.
• Ability to operate independently in a field-based environment.
• Analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer insights.
• Capacity to maintain and nurture customer relationships.

• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
