This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.
• Generate a pipeline from leads provided by Business Development Representatives and Marketing, along with self-sourced opportunities.
• Develop a segment of self-generated pipeline opportunities.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying to demonstrations and closing sales.
• Gain mastery of Paddle’s product and effectively communicate its value to CTOs, Heads of Product, and CEOs.
• Collaborate with management, Marketing, Product, and Success teams to establish effective strategies for sales opportunities.
• Identify weaknesses in Paddle’s and competitors’ products to enhance sales techniques and inform the product roadmap.
• Engage in regular training sessions for Account Executives and pursue continuous professional development.
• Provide mentorship to new Account Executives during their onboarding process.
• Transform qualified leads into Paddle customers and contribute to achieving revenue targets.
• Significant experience in closing sales within a software or SaaS industry.
• Proficient in managing multi-threaded sales processes and enterprise-level deals.
• Skilled in consultative, value-based selling techniques.
• Demonstrated success in consistently surpassing sales quotas.
• Experienced in selling highly technical products or services.
• Comfortable engaging with prospective clients through various channels: in-person, phone, and email.
• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset with a knack for solving complex problems.
• Experience in payments or B2B SaaS is preferred.
• Previous experience in a growth-stage internet or software company is preferred.
• Familiarity with selling to CTOs, Heads of Product, or technical founders is preferred.
• Knowledge of e-commerce providers such as Stripe, Braintree, PayPal, Cleverbridge, and subscription services like Chargebee, Zuora, and Recurly is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in an unstructured, self-motivated environment.
• Must be able to work based in Boston, MA.
• Commission structure provided; On-Target Earnings (OTE) is 100%.
