Senior Account Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee sales accounts in the Midwest region.

• Direct customer initiatives such as product launches, qualifications, and specification development.

• Act as the main point of contact, ensuring customer goals align with internal execution.

• Seek out new customer opportunities.

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with accounts in the Midwest.

• Comprehend customer requirements and convert them into actionable strategies.

• Provide prompt updates regarding project developments, challenges, and solutions.

• Offer outstanding customer service.

• Leverage knowledge of packaging products, manufacturing abilities, and industry trends to assist customer inquiries and commercial prospects.

• Deliver technical and operational advice related to packaging solutions.

• Monitor sales performance against projected forecasts.

• Aid in resolving accounts receivable issues and concerns regarding aged inventory.

• Achieve targeted sales objectives.

• Assess customer feedback and the effectiveness of relationships.

• Identify, manage, and resolve risks and challenges.

• Contribute to forecast accuracy, quality of reporting, and timely invoicing/payment processing.

• Execute essential functions effectively, with or without reasonable accommodations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Packaging, or a related discipline.

• 5-7 years of experience in sales, account management, or a packaging-related role.

• Experience in managing cross-functional projects and customer-facing activities.

• Proven ability to present products, capabilities, and solutions to clients.

• Background in packaging, folding carton, consumer products, or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred.

• Account management experience is a plus but not mandatory.

• Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and cultivate strong working relationships.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities effectively.

• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.

• Effective decision-making and execution under tight deadlines.

• Eagerness to learn and advance within account management.

• Self-motivated with a proactive approach.

• Strong work ethic and dedication to continuous learning.

• Professional demeanor, confidence, and resilience.

• Collaborative team player with a positive outlook.

• Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.

• Must reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota.
