Senior 3D Product Render Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Manage the complete process of realistic product rendering for the dbrand website, from engineering CAD to final export.

• Develop and sustain scene systems to ensure consistent and efficient SKU rendering.

• Produce animated 3D elements for dbrand's drop pages.

• Convert still-shot preparations into same-day social media content when necessary.

• Design animated 3D scenes and motion graphics for dbrand videos.

• Create ad-hoc 3D elements as required.

• Uphold quality and timelines during busy periods, handling render counts that may reach four figures.

• Supply renders for the website, social media channels, video projects, and packaging.

• Collaborate with Graphic Designers, Software Engineers, and the Videography team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-10 years of professional experience.

• Native proficiency in Blender or Cinema 4D.

• Additional abilities in Houdini, 3ds Max, or Unreal Engine are advantageous but not mandatory.

• Expertise in converting industry-standard CAD files (STEP, STL, OBJ) into usable 3D assets for production.

• Advanced capabilities in shading, texturing, UV mapping, lighting, and rendering.

• Strong understanding of photographic and cinematic techniques related to computer graphics production.

• Practical skills in 3D modeling, rigging, and animation.

• Capacity to process Industrial CAD files through a complete pipeline: refine, shade, layout, light, render, and animate.

• Core proficiency in the Adobe software suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.

• Ability to self-manage and take charge of a project within a specified creative mandate.

• Exceptional communication skills and a thorough command of the English language.

• Detail-oriented, independent, resourceful, organized, and proactive.

• Capability to address complex problems.

• Commitment to long-term growth and learning opportunities.

• Experience in creating high-concept creative advertising animations is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of CGI VFX techniques is a plus.

• Basic understanding of titling, captioning, and transitions is a plus.

• Basic familiarity with video codecs, compression schemes, and aspect ratios is a plus.
