SEM Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct data review and manipulation before and after modeling to assist Statistical Analysts.

• Format and manipulate production data accordingly.

• Examine extensive data sets to identify errors and ensure precision.

• Incorporate data into statistical software templates.

• Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to develop and sustain database files.

• Develop and uphold standardized templates for energy modeling and program data.

• Draft work instructions for newly created templates.

• Monitor, draft, edit, and ensure quality control of final models and reports.

• Assist in automating data processing tasks.

• Troubleshoot, adjust, and create tools utilizing Visual Basic and Excel formulas.

• Oversee and manipulate data within Smartsheet.

• Aid in benchmarking reporting and the advancement of digital infrastructure.

• Occasionally engage with clients and end-users to collect data or respond to inquiries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong skills in data manipulation and formatting, with a keen attention to detail and consistency.

• Experience in analyzing large and complex data sets.

• Comfortable using statistical software and templates.

• Proficient in Visual Basic and advanced Excel formulas.

• Familiarity with Smartsheet.

• Experience with SharePoint.

• Collaborative approach and ability to work across internal teams, as well as occasionally with external clients and customers.

• Preferred experience in the energy industry, though not mandatory.

• Sponsorship is not available.

• Must have authorization to work in the country where the position is based without employer sponsorship or assistance.

• Successful candidates must pass pre-employment checks.

• If applicable, must meet all DOT qualification standards and adhere to relevant federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
