Security Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of customer security questionnaires within SafeBase from start to finish.

• Streamline and automate repeatable questionnaire responses while managing the response library.

• Craft clear and accurate answers where automation is insufficient.

• Develop in-depth technical responses to intricate security and architecture inquiries from enterprise clients.

• Participate in live discussions with enterprise security teams, CISOs, and technical evaluators as the security representative.

• Create pre-sales security materials, such as presentations, one-pagers, whitepapers, and architecture documentation.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to gain insights into OpenRouter and address any undocumented inquiries.

• Work alongside Legal to ensure security obligations and commitments are accurately represented in enterprise contracts.

• Engage with internal IT & Security to fully understand and accurately convey the GRC program, policies, and control environment to customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive technical expertise in cloud, infrastructure, and application security.

• Capability to evaluate architecture diagrams and pinpoint pertinent security issues.

• Excellent written communication abilities.

• Proficient in enterprise security evaluations, including questionnaires, trust centers, architecture assessments, and their significance in the enterprise sales process.

• Ability to manage security inquiries independently, recognize when further information is required, and accurately follow up.

• Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles.

• Capacity to respond promptly while accurately representing the security posture.

• Comfortable operating in a dynamic startup environment and managing uncertainty.

• Proven ability to take ownership of outcomes independently.

• Practical experience with SafeBase or a similar trust center/questionnaire automation platform.

• Background in pre-sales security engineering, solutions engineering, or GRC within a high-growth infrastructure or SaaS company.

• Knowledge of LLM and AI infrastructure, including associated security factors such as data handling, model providers, subprocessors, and inference boundaries.

• Experience in negotiating or reviewing security terms within enterprise agreements.

• Eligibility to work in the US; the application will inquire whether visa sponsorship is necessary now or in the future.
