Security Lead – Data Analytics and Technology

📋 Description

• Empower Fresenius Medical Care’s global security organization with advanced analytics, secure technology platforms, and data-informed decision support.

• Act as the central integrator for security data, systems, and performance measurement spanning physical security, corporate security intelligence, and supply chain and product security.

• Provide vision, strategy, and implementation for technologies and analytics related to physical security.

• Design and deliver comprehensive security analytics across the enterprise for risk assessment, performance evaluation, and return-on-investment analysis.

• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and executive-level reporting tools.

• Identify areas for enhancement in effectiveness, efficiency, cost control, and improved response outcomes.

• Utilize predictive and trend analytics to facilitate proactive risk mitigation and resource management.

• Formulate a technology vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmaps for physical security technologies.

• Assess emerging security technologies and supervise pilot programs, evaluations, and enterprise-wide deployments.

• Assist senior security leaders with actionable insights, analytics, and technological solutions.

• Convert operational security needs into scalable data and system capabilities.

• Foster standardized reporting and visibility across global security functions.

• Ensure compliance of security data collection, storage, and analytics with data governance, privacy, healthcare, and regional regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with IT, Legal, Privacy, and Compliance teams on data risk management and approval processes.

• Set data quality standards, access controls, and lifecycle management protocols.

• Integrate security technologies with enterprise platforms effectively.

• Manage requirements definition, vendor collaboration, and lifecycle management for security analytics and systems.

• Enhance data accuracy, consistency, and usability across various regions and functions.

• Support budget management through data-driven investment decisions and performance metrics.

• Quantify risk reduction, productivity improvements, and cost avoidance.

• Present executive-level business justifications for technology and analytics initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Security Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 10 years of progressive experience in security analytics, security technology, risk analytics, or related areas.

• Proven experience in supporting senior security leadership within a complex, global organization.

• Established background in security metrics and performance analytics.

• Demonstrated knowledge of physical security technologies and platforms.

• Solid experience in data governance and compliance processes.

• Experience in the healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industries is highly preferred.

• Ability to define and execute a comprehensive long-term technology and analytics strategy.

• Strong capability to identify and articulate quantifiable improvements.

• Deep understanding of physical security, investigative processes, and supply chain security operations.

• Excellent judgment regarding sensitive security and healthcare data.

• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

• Effective collaboration skills across security, IT, compliance, and operations teams.

• Ability to enhance analytics and technology adoption across various regions.

• Occasional domestic and international travel may be necessary.

• May be required to assist security leadership during significant incidents or crisis situations.
