Security & Infrastructure Engineer, Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Macedonia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with solution architects and project teams to design and implement Microsoft Security solutions within Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.

• Administer, implement, and troubleshoot Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) alongside hybrid identity solutions.

• Configure and oversee Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel.

• Establish and uphold Conditional Access, MFA, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Zero Trust security measures.

• Assist in security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives.

• Evaluate customer environments and offer recommendations for enhancing security posture and governance.

• Facilitate cloud migration and modernization projects with security integrated throughout the solution lifecycle.

• Implement and troubleshoot backup, recovery, and business continuity strategies.

• Maintain technical documentation and remain updated with emerging security technologies and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Security Engineering, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, or a related field.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Defender Suite, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Security Center / Defender for Cloud, Conditional Access, Identity Governance, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance.

• Proven experience in administering and securing Azure and hybrid environments.

• Background in enterprise Microsoft environments and customer-facing consulting roles.

• Experience in PowerShell scripting and automation.

• Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and communication abilities.

• Professional level of proficiency in English.
