Staff Infrastructure Engineer, Networking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and develop network fabrics for data centers that support large GPU clusters.

• Automate the provisioning, configuration, and change management of networks through coding.

• Manage BGP, routing policies, VLANs, VRFs, and EVPN/VXLAN across multiple sites.

• Establish and optimize GPU networking using InfiniBand and RoCE to enhance performance and isolation.

• Construct network telemetry systems.

• Lead efforts in troubleshooting and incident response.

• Collaborate with Kubernetes platform, compute, and security teams.

• Maintain the AI cloud platform's data center networks in a production environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in Dallas, San Francisco, or New York City.

• Proven production ownership of bare-metal leaf-spine data center networks.

• Extensive networking expertise: TCP/IP, BGP, ECMP, segmentation, and interconnects.

• Proficient in network automation using Go or Python.

• Experience with GitOps and controlled rollout processes.

• Fundamental knowledge of Linux and Kubernetes networking.

• Familiarity with NVIDIA AI networking technologies, such as InfiniBand, Spectrum-X, and RDMA (preferred).

• Experience with tools like Netris, UFM, or NetBox (preferred).

• Understanding of multi-site connectivity for large GPU clusters (preferred).

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. or be able to meet U.S. work authorization requirements.
