Senior Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, manage, and enhance infrastructure services for over 150 client organizations.

• Construct and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure tailored to client specifications.

• Address development and deployment obstacles to ensure infrastructure is reliable, sustainable, and cost-effective.

• Collaborate on feature releases alongside solution architects, forward-deployed engineers, and customer success teams.

• Enhance data infrastructure, automate pipelines, improve codebase quality, and ensure data integrity.

• Design, architect, and implement systems that support metadata, configuration, and data pipeline inputs.

• Create and contribute to monitoring and alerting systems.

• Strengthen infrastructure security across networking, storage, and user access points.

• Address and resolve issues reported by customers.

• Engage in an on-call rotation.

• Champion the adoption of AI-driven development workflows utilizing LLM-based tools.

• Strong proficiency in Python.

• Advanced technical troubleshooting capabilities.

• Extensive experience in developing backend APIs and microservices.

• In-depth knowledge of AWS core services.

• Ability to design scalable solutions from broad requirements.

• Proficient in Terraform/Scalr.

• Experience in building robust CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions.

• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including subnets, CIDR, and VPCs.

• Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, or Temporal.

• Ability to utilize Gemini, ChatGPT, and Cursor effectively.

• Exceptional cross-team communication abilities.

• Demonstrated success in driving complex projects to completion.

• Residing in the PST / Pacific timezone.
