This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Conduct security assessments and manage vulnerabilities in cloud-native settings.
• Work together with software development and DevOps teams to enhance the security of products, CI/CD infrastructure, and production systems.
• Lead threat modeling initiatives and security evaluations across various products and cloud infrastructure.
• Identify potential attack vectors and create scalable strategies for mitigation.
• Develop automation, policy-as-code, and security tools to embed security into development processes.
• Design and implement secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes frameworks.
• Manage vulnerability remediation efforts by prioritizing issues and executing mitigation plans.
• Create preventative measures throughout the software supply chain from development to production.
• Enhance detection and response capabilities to recognize malicious actions, triage alerts, investigate incidents, and resolve them.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deliver solutions designed with security in mind.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in security engineering or security operations within cloud environments.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud security, or equivalent experience with Azure and GCP, along with some AWS exposure.
• Familiarity with cloud-native Kubernetes services (EKS/GKE/AKS) and principles of container security.
• Experience in securing IAM and cloud identities on a large scale.
• Proven ability to lead technical security assessments, perform threat modeling, and convert findings into effective security controls.
• Solid understanding of web application security principles, including the OWASP Top 10.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, and Pulumi.
• Capability to develop automation and tools using one or more of Python, Go, Shell, HCL, or Rego.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in place of a degree (preferred).
