This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Conduct security evaluations, manage vulnerabilities, and oversee detection and response initiatives within cloud-native settings.
• Collaborate with software development and DevOps teams to enhance the security of Wiz’s products, CI/CD infrastructure, and production environments.
• Utilize Wiz-for-Wiz to evaluate, monitor, and strengthen environments while influencing the product roadmap.
• Lead threat modeling and security assessments across Wiz's products and cloud infrastructure.
• Identify potential attack surfaces and create scalable mitigation strategies.
• Develop automation, policy-as-code, and security tools to seamlessly integrate comprehensive security into development workflows.
• Design and establish secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes-based infrastructures.
• Drive efforts in vulnerability management and remediation, including prioritization, mitigations, and preventative controls across software supply chains.
• Enhance detection and response capabilities to recognize malicious activities, triage alerts, investigate incidents, and implement remediation.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deliver solutions designed with security in mind.
• Over 7 years of experience in security engineering or security operations within cloud environments.
• Proficient in AWS cloud security, or possess equivalent experience in Azure and GCP along with some familiarity with AWS.
• Experienced with cloud-native Kubernetes services (EKS/GKE/AKS) and principles of container security.
• Skilled in securing IAM and cloud identities at scale.
• Proven track record in leading technical security evaluations of products and architectures, conducting threat modeling sessions, and converting findings into actionable security measures.
• Solid understanding of web application security principles, including OWASP Top-10 and similar standards.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and associated tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, Pulumi.
• Proficient in automation and tool development using languages such as Python, Go, Shell, HCL, or Rego.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience collaborating with remote, globally distributed teams.
• Familiarity with organizations that develop software or manage infrastructure and technology services for their customers.
• Knowledge of CNAPP, CSPM, or CIEM solutions.
