This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Manage and secure endpoints, which includes MDM/Intune, patch management, encryption, and ensuring device compliance.
• Deliver effective desktop support and address device-related issues as necessary.
• Oversee daily identity and access management tasks, encompassing joiner/mover/leaver processes, least-privilege access, and quarterly access reviews across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, GCP, and other SaaS applications.
• Track security alerts and logs, escalate issues promptly, and assist in the investigation and documentation of security incidents.
• Aid in the collection of compliance evidence in Vanta for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and ISO 42001 in collaboration with the Head of Security & Trust.
• Compile evidence for vendor and customer security questionnaires and highlight items that need escalation.
• Recognize and implement enhancements in monitoring, alerting, and access control for cloud and endpoint tools.
• Achieve KPIs related to access reviews, endpoint compliance, incident resolution, and the quality of Vanta/vendor-review evidence.
• Experience in desktop support, IT systems administration, or a comparable technical operations role, currently transitioning into or already engaged in blended IT/security work.
• Practical knowledge in endpoint management (Intune or equivalent MDM) and administration of Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with cloud fundamentals (GCP, AWS, or Azure IAM); extensive cloud engineering experience is not necessary.
• Some familiarity with compliance or audit evidence collection (Vanta or similar) is advantageous, though not mandatory.
• A security certification such as CompTIA Security+, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, or Microsoft SC-900 — or demonstrable self-directed learning if not yet certified.
