Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Conduct weekly code reviews to identify vulnerabilities prior to deployment.

• Monitor, prioritize, and facilitate the resolution of security vulnerabilities throughout the stack.

• Organize external security audits and penetration tests, ensuring follow-up on findings.

• Maintain and update our risk register, mapping all company services and prioritizing exposure levels.

• Assist with audit follow-ups and ensure GRC documentation remains current.

• Inform the team about new threats, document insights, and disseminate security updates across the company.

• Execute phishing simulations and conduct security training (via Riot).

• Manage security channel monitoring and alert responses, including coverage during weekends to ensure all issues are addressed.

• Configure and secure new employee devices (MDM), overseeing access provisioning and deprovisioning.

• Stay informed about emerging attack techniques targeting generative AI (such as prompt injection, jailbreaks, and content filter bypass).

• Monitor security incidents and vulnerabilities reported by third-party AI providers we depend on.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in application security, including code review and vulnerability management.

• Experience in coordinating or conducting penetration testing/security audits.

• Proficient in shipping code and familiar with Git/GitHub workflows.

• Skills in scripting and automation.

• Bonus: Knowledge of AI/LLM security concepts (such as prompt injection, jailbreaking, and adversarial testing) — curiosity is valued more than extensive experience in this evolving field.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills (fluent in English).

• Driven, with a strong sense of ownership and commitment.
