Product Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineering teams on secure design initiatives and code evaluations.

• Detect and prioritize security threats early in the product development phase.

• Create streamlined processes and systems that facilitate secure development as the preferred approach.

• Perform penetration testing and code assessments on both new and existing products.

• Integrate and enhance static analysis, supply chain security, and vulnerability management within engineering workflows.

• Manage and automate the responsible disclosure program, assess submissions, and coordinate remediation efforts.

• Write and deploy production code to address vulnerabilities and strengthen product security.

• Engage directly with customers regarding security inquiries and concerns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a security engineering or security-oriented software engineering position.

• Capability to implement across security functions, including security evaluations, penetration testing, responsible disclosure, and integration of security tools.

• Familiarity with and experience in using standard industry tools.

• Proven track record in identifying software vulnerabilities, as evidenced by CVEs, bug bounty programs, blog contributions, or previous employment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, especially when collaborating with engineering teams.

• Proficient in reading and writing code.

• Competent in effectively utilizing AI throughout the process.

• Experience in the authentication and identity domain is a plus.

• Background in writing production-level code, particularly for developing security features, is advantageous.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
