Security Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Execute penetration testing and related security assessment tasks across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of security projects, which includes kick-off meetings, testing phases, reporting, and client debrief sessions.

• Generate detailed and high-quality technical reports that communicate findings and recommendations effectively.

• Cultivate and sustain strong consultative relationships with clients.

• Mentor Associate Security Consultants and offer guidance as needed.

• Lead small to medium-sized security initiatives.

• Provide technical analysis and insights on current cybersecurity events and emerging threats upon request.

• Deliver cybersecurity assurance, certification, inspection, training, and risk-management services for LRQA clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong technical expertise and practical experience in IT security.

• Proven experience in web and application security testing.

• Proven experience in infrastructure security testing.

• Experience with cloud security assessments utilizing AWS and/or Azure.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to work autonomously while effectively contributing to a high-performing team.

• Professional certification such as CREST CRT, OSCP, or another equivalent cybersecurity certification.

• At least 12 months of relevant IT security industry experience within the last 2 years.

• Experience in container security and containerized environments is preferred.

• Capacity to pass relevant pre-employment checks, including identity, right-to-work, employment history, education, and criminal record verification when applicable.
