This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, technology, security, and acquisition target teams to ensure the coordination of core security and technology services during acquisitions or divestitures.
• Create, document, and implement secure design patterns for partnerships with strategic alliance partners.
• Develop new security playbooks and services tailored to business alliances and strategic acquisitions.
• Serve as the primary liaison between security and both technical and business teams.
• Oversee design and advisory functions across information security teams for acquisitions and research initiatives.
• Engage with internal research, business intelligence, technical, and information security teams to create and deliver security products and services.
• Influence the services provided by the mergers and acquisitions security program.
• Ensure that ongoing acquisitions receive timely and appropriate security services.
• Function within the security architecture team while maintaining a dotted-line relationship with the cybersecurity threat intelligence team.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years of experience OR Master’s Degree with 6 years of experience OR PhD with 2 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience in a relevant area of security architecture, such as Cloud Security, AppSec, Network Security, Identity, or Operational Technology.
• Proven experience in designing and effectively implementing practical security solutions.
• Direct experience in designing or providing solutions related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and/or multi-company collaborations.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, and their associated security solutions.
• Knowledge of M365 and Slack.
• Understanding of Active Directory and related security structures, including domains, forests, and trusts.
• Awareness of industry security standards such as NIST 800 and ISO 27001.
• Background in an information security role, ideally as a Security Architect or Security Engineer.
• Experience with various security tools and capabilities, preferably with hands-on operational exposure.
• GCFE, GCFA, GDSA, GCTI, GCIA, GCDA, or GEIR certifications are highly preferred.
• Additional technical or industry certifications, such as SANS or AWS certifications.
