Security Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Establish the information security architecture from the initial project conception phase, collaborating with business, architectural, and technology teams.

• Design, evaluate, and supervise the implementation of security controls across applications, infrastructure, as well as Cloud and on-premises environments.

• Implement Security by Design and Security by Default principles.

• Evaluate security risks and outline mitigation strategies.

• Develop security models for identity management, networks, encryption, privacy, and data protection.

• Define and oversee DevSecOps controls, which include SAST, DAST, SCA, code analysis, and vulnerability management.

• Plan and manage penetration tests, analyze the outcomes, and provide guidance on remediation strategies.

• Establish metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and controls for monitoring project security.

• Ensure adherence to relevant policies, standards, laws, and regulations.

• Assist with internal and external audits.

• Act as the technical reference for Information Security within the teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Information Security Architecture and Design.

• Familiarity with software architecture, infrastructure, and Cloud/on-premises environments.

• Experience in assessing and managing security risks.

• Background in DevSecOps, SAST, DAST, SCA, code analysis, and vulnerability management.

• Strong understanding of application security, identity, authentication, authorization, encryption, and networks.

• Knowledge of solutions like PAM, DAM, SIEM, PKI, EDR, IDS/IPS, SASE, and DLP.

• Familiarity with penetration testing, OWASP, PTES, and NIST standards.

• Proficiency in tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, and Metasploit.

• Awareness of frameworks and references including TOGAF, BIAN, and STRIDE.

• Knowledge of regulations such as LGPD/GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, CIS Controls, OWASP, CSA Cloud Controls Matrix, PCI, and financial sector regulations.

• Excellent communication skills, systems thinking, analytical capabilities, and technical leadership.
