This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise innovative and ongoing incident response efforts in partnership with the distinguished Incident Response team.
• Recognize, evaluate, and decipher threat actors and harmful activities within client environments.
• Distinguish between potential intrusion attempts and false positives.
• Utilize proprietary systems to create and disseminate vulnerability reports.
• Design and present thorough presentations tailored for both technical and executive audiences.
• Engage in daily shift transitions to maintain seamless monitoring and incident response operations in a 24/7 security context.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a comparable position or related field.
• A foundational understanding of networking concepts, including routing, switching, and standard network security principles.
• Basic knowledge of the cybersecurity threat landscape, credential attacks, and typical tactics, techniques, and procedures employed by threat actors.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices, including principles of least privilege and defense-in-depth.
• Experience with security monitoring tools and platforms.
• Capability to investigate security alerts, examine logs, identify indicators of compromise (IOCs), and escalate incidents as per established procedures.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 security concepts, such as Microsoft Defender, Entra ID (Azure AD), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and identity security.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, user account management, and common endpoint security controls.
• Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data from various monitoring sources to assess potential security risks and their business implications.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with an ability to accurately document findings, recommendations, and incident details.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical clients.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment dedicated to 24x7 security monitoring.
• Willingness to engage in rotating schedules, staggered shifts, and incident response triage coverage.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience in customer service and/or client-facing roles.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and passionate about cybersecurity.
