Customer Security Analyst, MDR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Participate in the customer-centric role within the Unit 42 MDR team.

• Deliver proactive communication and technical support to clients.

• Assist with onboarding processes for new customers.

• Monitor, triage, and direct incoming customer inquiries.

• Respond to technical inquiries related to alerts, reports, incidents, and recommendations.

• Collaborate with MDR analysts to resolve customer inquiries about incidents, threats, and investigations.

• Manage the customer communication lifecycle during ongoing incidents.

• Provide timely updates, clarity, and alignment regarding next steps.

• Ensure consistent and high-quality communication regarding incidents, findings, and external threat intelligence.

• Advocate for customer concerns internally across Product, Engineering, and the wider Unit 42 teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing cybersecurity position, such as professional services, customer success, or customer support.

• Experience as a Tier 1/2 SOC analyst is considered beneficial.

• In-depth knowledge of attack trends and threat detection services.

• Practical experience with EDR, SIEM, SOAR, or XDR technologies.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to articulate complex technical information clearly.

• Background in reviewing, drafting, or presenting incident reports and security findings.

• Familiarity with Cortex XDR or Cortex XSOAR is a significant advantage.

• Experience in onboarding new security services or clients is preferable.

• U.S. citizenship is a requirement.
