Secondary Systems Manager – All Genders

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee tenders from transmission system operators (TSOs) for secondary systems in extra-high-voltage substations.

• Handle the complete tender process for secondary systems, which includes protection, substation automation (SAS), and communications technology.

• Collaborate with engineering teams, internal departments, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout all phases of the bid process.

• Prepare comprehensive bid documentation, encompassing the scope of supply, bill of materials, and risk registers.

• Estimate engineering, testing, and commissioning costs in line with technical and commercial requirements.

• Act as the main point of contact between TSOs, Sales, Procurement, and technical departments.

• Review tender documents, assess risks, and outline necessary clarification items.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in industrial engineering, business administration, economics, or a related qualification.

• Significant experience in tender management or bid management, preferably in secondary systems or energy infrastructure.

• Proficient in document management systems such as SharePoint, Confluence, or DOCUWARE.

• Skilled in professional communication using MS Teams, Outlook, and CRM systems like Salesforce.

• Knowledge of VOB, ENTSO-E regulations, and TSO-specific tender requirements.

• Technical expertise in protection engineering, substation automation, and communications systems.

• Fluent in both German and English.
