Seasonal HRA Operations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver a seamless support experience to customers via phone and email.

• Process applications to the carrier and manage them until approval.

• Assist customers in navigating the healthcare system and understanding their options.

• Rapidly identify and resolve issues when transactions or experiences deviate from expectations.

• Record every phone call and email interaction with members in Zendesk.

• Respond to qualifying and benefit-specific inquiries.

• Provide scheduled phone and email support for members.

• Take ownership of each interaction from beginning to end while collaborating directly with carriers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active health and life insurance license in your resident state.

• Hands-on experience enrolling individuals through Healthcare.gov or a state-based exchange (e.g., Covered California).

• Experience in a customer support or member-services environment (call center, help desk, or similar).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Patience, empathy, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.

• Capability to leverage insurance knowledge to assist individuals in signing up for coverage.

• Comfort and proficiency in working within a support ticketing platform.

• Multiple state licenses are preferred but not required.

• Bilingual fluency (especially in Spanish) is preferred but not required.

• Familiarity with Zendesk or a similar support platform is preferred but not required.

• Availability for five days a week, without weekend coverage.

• Ability to work Shift A (9:00 AM–3:00 PM EST) or Shift B (3:00 PM–9:00 PM EST), depending on your location.
