This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Assess and score approximately 1,000β2,000 applications for the Global Navigator Scholarship.
β’ Analyze written responses, student profiles, and financial documents based on established rubrics and eligibility guidelines.
β’ Review and verify financial documentation for any missing elements, inconsistencies, or items that require further examination.
β’ Document scores, review results, and necessary information in specified systems and tracking tools.
β’ Ensure consistent and impartial scoring while adhering to productivity, accuracy, and deadline standards.
β’ Engage in mandatory training and calibration sessions.
β’ Address questions, documentation issues, and circumstances that are not covered by existing procedures.
β’ Uphold strict confidentiality concerning student, family, academic, financial, and scholarship-related information.
β’ Support additional administrative or operational initiatives within the High School Study Abroad team as required.
β’ Execute other responsibilities as assigned.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail and strong reading comprehension abilities.
β’ Capability to impartially apply established rubrics, criteria, and procedures.
β’ Strong critical-thinking and analytical skills.
β’ Proficiency in identifying discrepancies, missing information, and documentation concerns.
β’ Ability to maintain precision and concentration during repetitive, high-volume tasks.
β’ Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
β’ Competence in independently managing workload and meeting deadlines.
β’ Openness to receiving and implementing feedback.
β’ Proficient written communication skills.
β’ Comfort in working with written, numerical, and financial data.
β’ Basic technical skills and the ability to learn online application systems, databases, spreadsheets, and other technology tools.
β’ Basic skills in Microsoft Excel are preferred.
β’ Previous experience in application review, assessment, grading, auditing, quality assurance, education, administration, financial aid, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
β’ Experience in reviewing scholarship, admissions, academic, grant, or similar applications is advantageous.
β’ Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.
β’ Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
β’ Availability for full or part-time work during the specified scholarship review timeframe.
β’ Successful completion of a background check, along with education and employment verification, is required as a condition of employment.
β’ Full-time hourly position offering up to 40 hours per week.
β’ Consistent payment for 37.5 hours per week.
β’ Flexible Friday shift options: 9:00 AMβ5:00 PM or 12:00 PMβ8:00 PM.
β’ Remote work arrangement available.
β’ No work scheduled on CIEE-observed holidays.
β’ Participation in training and calibration activities.
